The operatives, after successfully taking out the guard at Asvig’s farm. Surrounding the perimeter, they crash the party of drunken Ulfen and a battle breaks out. What seemed insurmountable turned achieveable due to Draugnir’s casting of Entangle on about 85% of the room. Not long into the battle, the tall, and drunk, Azvig appears, along with his wife from their bed chamber.
The wife though, after casting a few spells to counter the attack, sees that it is not going well and flees after Asvig falls. The operatives find chest, as well as various items on Asvig’s person (see below for contents).
Additionally, you find clues in the farm house that would suggest that this was the raiding party that attacked the caravan at the Skalsbrïdge using a rented boat called Aril’s Hammer from Kalsgard’s Rimerunners Guild and that an heirloom sword was taken from Fynn Snaevald’s home, but no clue as to where it is. As to Asvig’s wife who fled, you find nothing that could identify her or suggest where she could have fled to. Additionally, you see what looks to be mention of funeral ceremony preparations.

I feel we had to do a little backtracking since it was a while after our previous session, but the Oni of the Five Winds are after us since we touched the Amatatsu Seal. They’ve been using intimidation tactics to let us know they’re on to us, but we may have discovered a connection between them and the lion tribe of Ulfen that could give us the upper hand. We’re currently en route to recover Sushen, the sword Ameiko’s grandfather passed on to the merchant Fynn Snaevald. Fynn wants us to recover his honor by recovering the sword and teaching them a lesson.
One item of note is that the Warding Box that holds the seal prevents any sort of scrying attempts. So they may know we have it, but not where it is. Who do we have protecting the caravan?
